Google MapsA teacher from the Isle of Lewis has appeared in court charged with sexual offences.
Andrew Yearley appeared in private at Inverness Sheriff Court on Friday, January 16.
He made no plea, was committed for further examination, and granted bail.
Police Scotland confirmed the 53-year-old was arrested and charged in connection with possession of indecent images at an address in Lewis last Thursday.
The local authority in the Western Isles, Comhairle nan Eilean Siar, said it was aware of an ongoing police investigation but cannot comment further.
