A man has been arrested in connection with the alleged stabbing of a woman in the Highlands.
Emergency services were called to Carnmhor Road in Ardgay at around 9.15pm on Thursday following reports of a disturbance.
A 50-year-old woman was found injured after she had allegedly been stabbed. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with the disturbance. An investigation is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.15pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025, officers were called to a report of a disturbance on Carnmhor Road, Ardgay.
“Emergency services attended, and a 50-year-old woman was found injured. She was taken to hospital for treatment.
“A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
