A man who was found dead beside a river on Christmas Day has been named by police.
The body of Stanley Stewart, from Falkirk, was found at the River Nevis in Glen Nevis, Lochaber, by a member of the public at around 11am on December 25.
Police have confirmed the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Detective inspector Andrew Bilton, of South Highland CID, said: “Our thoughts remain with Mr Stewart’s family at this difficult time.
“We are grateful to everyone who helped our enquiries following our earlier appeal for information.”
