Google MapsA motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a crash on the A82 near Glencoe.
The crash, involving a red Harley Davidson and a white Volvo V90, occurred at around 4.55pm on Sunday at the B863 junction.
Emergency services including police and air ambulance attended the scene and the 67-year-old male motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital.
He is described as having “serious Injuries”. No other injuries were reported.
The A82 was closed for over 13 hours to allow a crash investigation to take place, with a more than 50-mile diversion put in place.
The road later reopened at 1.30am on Monday.
Sergeant Kate Finlayson said: “I am appealing to anyone who was driving in the area at the time and witnessed the crash, or saw either vehicle prior, to get in touch with officers.
“I’d also ask that those with dash-cam footage review this to see if it has captured anything that could assist with our investigation.”
