Police appeal after driver, 29, dies in crash near Perth

Police are appealing for information after a 29-year-old man died in a crash near Perth on Friday night.

The man was driving a black Audi A4 which crashed on the A912 near the Craigend junction at Bridge of Earn.

His next of kin have been made aware.

Police Scotland said the crash took place around 10.35pm on Friday.

Sergeant Brian McEwen said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died in this crash.

“Inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of what happened and I’m appealing to anyone who has information to come forward.

“If anyone saw the black Audi A4 in the area around the time of the collision or has dash-cam footage which may assist our investigation, please contact police.”

Anyone with information has been asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 3748 of January 23.
