Police appeal for help as search grows for woman missing from Tain in Highlands Police Scotland

Police in the Highlands have appealed for help in the search for a missing woman.

Theresa Townsley, 41, from Tain, was last seen in Inverness city centre on Friday, June 24.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Ms Townsley.

It is believed that she returned to the Tain/Dornoch area.

She is described as being 5ft 10in, with long dark hair and talks with an Irish accent.

Police say that she has scars on the left hand side of her neck and head.

Officers can be contacted by calling 101 and quoting reference 1618 of June 24.
