Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a hit and run involving two cars in the Highlands.
Officers said an Orange Vauxhall Mokka crashed into a Blue Suzuki S Cross which was parked in the car park at Home Bargains in Tain around 3pm on Friday, December 27.
The driver of the Vauxhall left the scene as police said a number of members of the public are believed to have witnessed the incident.
Officers are urging those who saw the collision to come forward.
A Police Scotland statement read: “Police in Tain are appealing for witnesses of a hit and run in the car park of Home Bargains.
“About 3pm on December 27, a Blue Suzuki S Cross was parked within the car park when an Orange Vauxhall Mokka collided into it before driving off.
“It is believed this was witnessed by members of the public within the car park and police are keen to speak to these people.
