© Google Maps 2026An investigation has been launched after a woman was found dead at a house in Angus.
Police were called to Dronley Terrace, Muirhead, at around 10.15pm on Friday following reports of concern for a person at a property.
A 45-year-old woman was found dead at the scene.
The woman has not yet been named, and police are treating the death as “unexplained”.
Her family have been made aware.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10.15pm on Friday, August 8, 2026, we received a report of concern for a woman at Dronley Terrace, Muirhead, Angus.
“Emergency services attended, and the 45-year-old woman was found deceased. The death is being treated as unexplained.
“Her next of kin have been made aware.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
