An appeal has been launched after a property was “deliberately” set on fire in the Highlands.
Officers were alerted to the incident that happened at a property on Caledonian Road in Fort William.
The force confirmed the blaze happened between 3am and 3.30am on Monday.
Police said fire is being treated as “wilful”.
Detective constable Ashleigh Paterson said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious, or has any information, to contact us.
“We also ask anyone who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 0301 of February 5, 2024. Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously by calling 0800 555 111.”
