A secondary school in Inverness has been forced to close due to a water leak.
Inverness Royal Academy said the water from the leak had been isolated but investigations were ongoing to assess the damage caused.
Pupils from the school, the largest school in the Highlands, were sent home on Monday morning.
A spokesperson said: “While teams carry out their work power supplies may be disrupted, so in the interests of safety the decision was taken to close the school for today.
“Further updates will be issued in due course.”
