A major recruitment drive is underway to fill a jobs gap in the hospitality sector in the Highlands.
More than 100 vacancies were on offer on Tuesday to candidates across 15 hotels.
Organisers say the pandemic and Brexit have combined to create a shortage in staffing but there are lots of opportunities at all levels.
As visitors return to Scotland, the hospitality sector is beginning to boom again.
However, while the industry is picking up after the pandemic, there is a large number of staff vacancies to serve guests.
On Tuesday, a major recruitment drive was held at the Town House in Inverness.
Jobs were up for grabs from 15 employers, and anyone interested was guaranteed an interview.
Members of the industry told STV News there are a lot of myths surrounding the hospitality sector.
Emmanuel Moine, chair of the Highland Hotels Association said: “We need to shout to the public that we are good employers, that we have positions, that we are flexible, that we offer training, that we look after our staff and we have never paid so well.
“Sometimes the public have the wrong perception of what we offer and what we can offer in terms of hours, in terms of wages. So, it is a matter of explaining to the public.”
Mr Moine added: “We have organised a recruitment day, so we will have about 15 hotels at the town house showing to the public what we have to offer.
“For the last three years hotels were closed. We’ve lost a lot of staff. We need them to come back.”
Full-time, part-time, and seasonal work was on offer, with no experience necessary as training would be provided.
