A rescue operation is continuing in the Highlands for a second day following reports of a missing teenage kayaker.
Emergency services were called to Lochindorb near Grantown-on-Spey at around 5pm on Thursday to reports of someone in the water.
It is understood that the incident is related to a teenage boy, and that a group of kayakers were on the water when emergency services were alerted.
Water search crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have also been seen searching the loch.
SuppliedPolice Scotland confirmed on Friday morning that extensive searches are continuing.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We got a call from police requesting assistance in the Lochindorb area at around 5pm on Thursday.
“This was due to reports of somebody in the water in the area.”
