A road in the Highlands has been closed after emergency services were called to tackle a wildfire on Wednesday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the blaze near Dava at around 5.30pm. Four appliances, a water carrier and a welfare unit were dispatched to the scene.
Police received reports of the incident at around 7pm and shut the A940 between Dava and Tomdow.
Road users have been urged to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A940 is closed between Dava and Tomdow following a wildfire in the area reported to police around 7pm on Wednesday, July 9.
“Road users are asked to avoid the area and not to ignore road closures.”
