A missing man from the Highlands last seen carrying a large Ikea bag containing clothes has been traced “safe and well”.

Christopher Davis was last seen about 7am on Wednesday, March 12 when he left his home address in the village of Avoch.

Officers confirmed on Friday afternoon the 27-year-old had been found.

Police thank members of the public for sharing their appeal.
