A second man has been charged in connection with a fire at a business park in Inverness.

A car was allegedly driven into a premises at Fairways Business Park shortly before midnight on March 8, before the building and car were set alight.

A 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the blaze on Tuesday.

He is due to appear at Inverness Sheriff Court on Thursday. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

Officers previously arrested and charged a 34-year-old man in connection with this incident.

The man appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Monday.

Detective inspector Caroline MacKay said: “I would like to extend my thanks to the local community for their co-operation and support during this investigation”.
