A section of the A9 was closed in both directions following a “serious road crash” on Thursday night in the Highlands
The incident, which is understood to involve two vehicles, happened on the A9, close to Dornoch Bridge at Tain, shortly after 8.30pm on February 16.
Police and fire crews were in attendance.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that it received the call at around 8.33pm and that four pumps were in attendance.
Police Scotland said: “The A9 north of Tain to the roundabout at Dornoch is closed due to a serious road crash.
“Motorists are asked to seek alternative routes.”
It is unclear whether there have been any injuries as a result of the incident.
