Specialist mountain rescue teams and armed forces have joined the search for a hillwalker missing last seen over three days in Glencoe.

Charles Kelly left his home in Tillicoultry on Wednesday September 6 and last contacted his family at around 8pm on Thursday.

There has been no contact from the 56-year-old since.

“We would like to ask again for anyone who was on the hills in Glencoe, particularly the Glen Etive and White Corrie’s (Glencoe Ski Centre) areas Wednesday onwards to think back and check your photos of the day for any sign of Charles.

“He is believed to be wearing a dark green fleece top, dark grey combat trousers and a black waterproof jacket.”

GMR volunteers were joined by colleagues from Lochaber Mountain Rescue, Oban Mountain Rescue Team, Search and Rescue Dog Association (Scotland),  Royal Air Force Mountain Rescue Service, Police Scotland, MRT and Arrochar Mountain Rescue Team . Air support was also provided through the weekend by Maritime and Coastguard Agency Rescue 151
