A suspect has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man in Inverness.
Emergency services were called to Balloan Road around 8.25am on Friday after reports of three men being found injured outside an address.
Two men were taken to hospital by ambulance, while the third made his own way to the hospital for treatment.
One of the men was pronounced dead on arrival.
The two other men received treatment for minor injuries and were charged in connection with the incident.
Lyall Wallace appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court, charged with murder, on Monday. The 21-year-old made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is due to make a second appearance within the next eight days. It is understood that a 38-year-old man is due to appear in court later this week.
