Google MapsA teenager is seriously injured in hospital after a car crashed into a field in the Highlands.
At around 9.40pm on Sunday, July 5, a black Lexus was found within a field on the A832 Cromarty to Gairloch road – around one mile east of Tore, north west of Inverness.
The 17-year-old driver was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
Road policing officers are appealing to anyone who saw the car prior to the crash to come forward.
Sergeant Neil MacDonald said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw the Lexus prior to the crash to get in touch with us.
“The road reopened around 7.20am on Monday, July 6, 2026.
“If you saw what happened, or have dash cam footage then please contact us quoting incident number 3045 of July 5, 2026.”
