Two people were airlifted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary while another was taken by ambulance to Raigmore Hospital after the crash on Monday.

Three people have been rushed to hospital after a serious crash on the A87 near Glenshiel.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Monday after a Peugeot 3008 and an Audi A3 crashed.

The 34-year-old passenger in the Peugeot and the 55-year-old driver of the Audi were both taken by air ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

The 34-year-old driver of the Peugeot was taken by Ambulance to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

The incident occurred around 2.25pm and police are now appealing to anyone with information to get in touch.

Sergeant Calum MacAulay of the Road Policing Unit at Dingwall said: “Our investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing.

“I would appeal to any witnesses to the crash or anyone driving on this road around the time of the crash who has information or dash-cam footage that may assist our enquiries to please contact us.

“Please contact 101 quoting reference number 2004 of August 28.”
