Two people have been taken to hospital following a crash in the Highlands on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the A99 near Lybster at around 1.40pm following reports of a two-vehicle collision.
Medical crews took two people to Caithness hospital in Wick for treatment.
The road between Latheron and Lybster was initially closed, however, it has since reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A99 has re-opened following a two-vehicle crash near Lybster, which was reported to us around 1.40pm on Monday, July 14, 2025.
“Two people were taken to Caithness General Hospital in Wick for assessment.”
