Two people taken to hospital after one-vehicle crash 

Two people have been taken to hospital following a one-vehicle crash in the Highlands on Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the A9 north of Aviemore near its junction with the A95 after reports of a collision at around 9.40am.

The busy road was initially closed in both directions; however, it has since reopened.

Two people have been taken to hospital for treatment following the incident.

An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing.
