A webcam has captured stunning ‘Bob Ross-style’ views of the snow covered landscape overlooking a loch in the Highlands.
The Loch Morlich webcam captured the snowy images as temperatures in Scotland plummeted this week.
Weather warnings have been issued for snow showers and ice in western parts of the country, while northern areas have had wintry spells earlier in the week.
Temperatures have plunged to lows of minus 8C as snow has fallen across Scotland.
A further Met Office alert for snow and ice was issued on Friday and came into force at 5pm and carrying through into Saturday morning.
A second warning is in place for the Western Isles, the north west coast of the mainland, Orkney and Shetland.
