A woman has been airlifted to hospital after she was attacked by three dogs in the Highlands.
Emergency services were called to the incident in Shindale, Invershin, at around 1.40pm on Tuesday.
A 69-year-old woman was transported to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries. A 76-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.
An investigation is ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.40pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, we received a report of a woman having been injured by three dogs in Shindale, Invershin.
“Emergency services attended and the 69-year-old woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance with what are described as serious injuries.
“A 76-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
