A woman has been airlifted to hospital after falling from a mountain ridge in the Highlands.

Emergency services, including the Coastguard, Glen Coe Mountain Rescue Team and Police Scotland were called to near Am Bodach, Kinlochleven, at around 6.15pm on Friday.

The woman was injured in the fall and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow by the Coastguard’s search and rescue helicopter.

Her condition is unknown.

Am Bodach is a steep Munro in the Mamores range, north of Kinlochleven. It reaches 1,032m with three ridges at its summit.
