A woman has died in hospital more than a week after a fatal crash in the Highlands involving three cars and a lorry.
The 62-year-old woman was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee following the collision on the A82 at around midday on Monday, July 6.
The crash, which occurred near the A86 junction with Spean Bridge, involved a Skoda Karoq, a Range Rover Sport, a Hyundai i10 and a lorry.
Emergency services attended the scene, however, the 62-year-old male driver of the Range Rover was pronounced dead.
On Tuesday, police confirmed the female passenger of the Range Rover has now also died.
The 42-year-old male driver of the lorry, the 19-year-old male driver and 21-year-old female passenger of the Hyundai, and the 70-year-old female driver of the Skoda did not require hospital treatment.
The road was closed for several hours to allow for collision investigation work, and a diversion of more than 150 miles was put in place.
Sergeant Ewan Calder said: “Our enquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this crash.
“Our thoughts are with the family of the man and woman who died in this crash.
“I am again appealing to anyone who was driving in the area around the time of the collision to contact us.
“Likewise, if you have dash cam, please check your footage for anything which could assist our investigation.”
