A woman who died in a disturbance in Shetland on Sunday has been named as a man is due to appear in court.

Police were called shortly before 5pm on February 11 to the Sandness area.

The 24-year-old woman who was pronounced dead at the scene has been named as Claire Leveque.

A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at Lerwick Sheriff Court on Thursday, February 15.
