A remote Scottish island is looking for residents to move into four new homes.
The Hebridean island of Rum is around 30 miles off the west coast and has a population of between 30-40.
It also boasts a primary and nursery school.
The community trust which runs the island said the four new “eco homes” were available for “affordable rent”.
The two-bedroom homes sit on the edge of the village of Kinloch and offer “high-quality fibre broadband”.
The trust said there were jobs in childcare, food production, house maintenance, fish farming or marine and mountain tourism.
An application process will run until April 6, with those with a trade or skill and young families in particular invited to apply.
Housing minister Kevin Stewart said: “We understand the challenges of developing affordable housing in rural and island areas, which is why the Scottish Government has provided vital funding of £454,000 to the Isle of Rum Community Trust through our Islands Housing Fund to make this project a reality.
“These four new energy efficient homes for affordable rent will provide safe, warm, quality places to live and contribute to the vibrancy and resilience of this island community.”
