Part of the A9 is closed in both directions after a two-vehicle crash in Perth and Kinross.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the road north of Calvine was closed at around 2.30pm on Friday.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it had sent four fire engines to the scene, where firefighters worked to make the area safe.
SFRS confirmed that one casualty is in the care of paramedics.
Drivers have been urged to approach the area with caution and use other routes where possible.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2pm on Friday, September 20, 2024 we were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the A9 near Calvine.
“Emergency services are in attendance and the road is currently closed.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.09pm on Friday, September 20, to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A9, near Calvine, Perth and Kinross.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances to the scene, where firefighters worked to make the area safe. One appliance currently remains in attendance.
“One casualty is in the care of paramedics.”
