Part of the A9 has been reopened after being forced to close after a man fell ill near Pitlochry.
Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the scene around 1pm on Thursday.
Drivers were urged to avoid the area as the road had been closed in both directions.
Images on social media show long queues of traffic backed up along the A9.
A police spokesperson said: “The A9 is closed at Pitlochry following a report of a man taken unwell.”
Traffic Scotland has confirmed the road has now reopened to drivers as of 4pm.
