iStockThe A96 in Aberdeenshire has been closed in both directions following a crash between a car and lorry on Wednesday.
The road is shut between Asda and the Huntly Auction Mart at the A96/A97 roundabout in Huntly. Police have put diversions in place.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area.
It is not known whether anyone has been injured.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “The A96 is closed from the roundabout at the A96/A97 in Huntly following a crash involving a car and a lorry.
“Diversions are in place from the roundabout to Deveron Road and though Huntly.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.”
A Traffic Scotland spokesperson read: “Closed in both directions due to a collision between Asda and Huntly Auction Mart.
“Please avoid the area, if possible.”
