Part of the A96 has been closed in both directions due to a van fire in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were called to the road south of Kintore at around 7.49am on Tuesday.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched two fire engines and specialist resources to the scene.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the road was closed in both directions.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.49am on Tuesday, January 21, to reports of a van on fire on the A96 – south of Kintore.
“Operations Control immediately mobilised two appliances and specialist resources to the scene, and firefighters are working to extinguish the fire.
“There were no reported casualties, and crews remain on scene.”
