Part of the A98 has been closed after a two-vehicle crash in Aberdeenshire.
Emergency services were alerted to the crash that happened south west of Banff at around 7.15pm on Wednesday.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area and a local diversion is in place.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The A98 is closed south west of Banff following a two vehicle crash reported to police around 7.15pm on Wednesday, September 3.
“Emergency services are in attendance and road users are advised to avoid the area.
“A local diversion is in place.”
