A care worker has been removed from the register after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a girl.
Bradley McWilliams was employed as a residential childcare worker in Aberdeen when he attacked the girl whilst in a position of trust.
He also engaged in sexual activity with a second girl, also whilst in a position of trust.
McWilliams was convicted of his actions at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on May 17, 2024.
The Scottish Social Services Council state that the offence carried out by the former childcare worker is of an “extremely serious” nature and it was “highly likely to cause serious harm”.
The public report read: “A social services worker should not abuse or harm individuals who they have been trusted to support.
“You committed an offence by engaging in sexual activity with a young person under the age of 18 years old when you were in a position of trust towards them in your role as a residential childcare worker.”
