A 24-year-old man has been charged as a result of a County Lines drugs operation in Aberdeen.

Following an intelligence-led investigation a drug search warrant was executed at an address on Kings Crescent, Aberdeen, on Thursday, June 15 alongside officers from Dorset Police.

A mixture of Class A controlled drugs with an estimated street value of around £26,500 were recovered, along with a four-figure sum of cash. 

Officers are continuing to follow further positive lines of enquiry.

The man was expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Thursday, June 15.

Detective sergeant Sam Harris said: “This investigation has disrupted a supply line of drugs from Dorset to Aberdeen and reinforces our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.”

“We rely on information from the public to help target our activities.
