The A90 has been closed in both directions after a crash on Thursday morning.
Traffic Scotland were alerted to the road traffic collision near Philorth, Aberdeenshire, at around 6.08am on November 28.
An update was issued at 7am to confirm that the road south of Fraserburgh is still shut. Motorists have been urged to be cautious on approach and seek alternative routes.
The number of vehicles involved and nature of any injuries is not yet known.
Police Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment
