Access to Schiehallion will be shut off for three days so that essential repairs can be made to the mountain path.
Later this month, contractors are to begin renovation work on the main route to the top of the popular Perthsire landmark.
Access to the mountain will closed off on July 22, 23 and 24 (weather dependent) for safety reasons.
During this time, a helicopter will bring stone into the site from elsewhere on the hill.
This will be used to build steps and drainage features that have suffered from both natural and human made erosion.
Schiehallion has attracted a large numbers of visitors during lockdown, with the roads approaching the car park often lined with vehicles.
Land manager Liz Auty said: “It is unfortunate that these repairs are coming just as lockdown eases.
“Our aim is to make the hill path secure for the remainder of the summer as quickly as possible and with the minimum of disruption, while also planning around reasonable weather for helicopter uplift.
“For a short period during the week – the 22-24th July – walkers are advised to plan their hill visits elsewhere.”
The new easier-access ‘Foss Loop’ was also recently closed for three days from Wednesday July 8 for essential repairs due to storm damage earlier in the year.
Maps and diversion signs were made available on site.
The John Muir Trust is spending more than £60,000 on path repairs on and around the world-famous summit.
