An ambulance crashed into a car in Aberdeen while travelling to an emergency incident.
The collision happened about 7.35pm on Sunday evening on Ellon Road in Bridge of Don.
The ambulance was not transporting patients at the time and there were no serious injuries.
An alternative ambulance was sent to the original call.
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We are aware of an incident involving one of our ambulances and a car on Ellon Road, Aberdeen.
“The ambulance, which was on its way to an emergency call, was not transporting any patients. The SAS crew members were unharmed and, as a precaution, the driver of the car was taken to hospital. An alternative ambulance was sent to the original call.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “There were no serious injuries reported and the road was cleared around 9.15pm.”
