iStockArmed officers were dispatched to a street in Dundee on Tuesday morning following reports of a man with a firearm.
Emergency services were called to Polepark Road after they were alerted to the incident at around 8.45am.
A 35-year-old man was arrested in connection with the disturbance. An investigation to establish the full circumstances is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.45am on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, we were called to Polepark Road, Dundee following reports of a man with a firearm.
“Firearms officers attended and a 35-year-old man was arrested.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
