Google MapsA man has been charged after armed police were called to a Dundee street on Monday evening.
Police received reports at around 8.15pm on May 22 of a man allegedly seen with a weapon in the St Columba Gardens area of Dundee.
A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Police added that no weapon was recovered in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.15pm on Monday, May 22, 2023, police received a report of a disturbance, and a man allegedly seen with a weapon, in the St Columba Gardens area of Dundee.
“Officers attended and a 29-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. No weapon was recovered in the area.”
