Armed police raid property as investigation launched

Armed police have raided a property in Fife.

Images from the scene showed firearms officers attending a property on Walnut Crescent in Methil on Monday evening.

Officers acting on warrant searched the property, with enquiries said to be ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Monday, August 24, 2026, officers acting on warrant searched a property on Walnut Crescent, Methil.

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
