Around 50 primary school pupils have been ordered to self-isolate after two people tested positive for coronavirus.
Aberdeen City Council confirmed an individual in P4 and another in P6 at Kingsford School contracted Covid-19.
As a precautionary measure, all pupils from both classes have been told to quarantine at home for the next two weeks. Families were notified on Friday.
The school remains open and all other pupils are able to attend as normal.
A council spokesperson added: “Pupils at Kingsford School who have to self-isolate will have access to online home learning and the hardware required to access this will be provided.
“School staff will maintain contact with pupils to ensure they have continuity in their learning and any other support required.
“Robust control measures in keeping with national public health guidelines are in place and public health has commended the strength of the control measures and swift action of Kingsford School.”
