Police investigating an attack on a teenage boy believe it may have been filmed by other youths and posted online.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The 16-year-old victim was assaulted in the Bucksburn area of Aberdeen at around 4.30pm on Friday.
Police said the attack was witnessed by several youths who “may have filmed the incident”.
Police constable Ewan Gibbs said: “We would like to speak to anyone who saw this assault or has viewed footage circulating on social media.
“If anyone can help, please get in touch.”
