Audi and BMW stolen amid spate of break-ins in Fife town

Police have urged those in the area to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

Police are searching for the thieves who stole two cars amid a spate of break-ins in Fife.

Two properties were broken into in the Duloch area of Dunfermline between Thursday evening and Friday morning.

A black Audi RS3 and a grey BMW M135 were stolen.

Another property in the area was broken into overnight but Police Scotland said nothing appears to have been taken.

And at around 4.40am on Thursday, there was an attempted break-in at a further property.

Detective inspector Lara Loudon said: “We are treating these incidents as linked and believe those responsible may have earlier been seen driving around the area.

“I’d urge locals to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.

“Anyone with information or who thinks they may have seen the stolen vehicles is asked to get in touch with us. If you have dashcam, private CCTV or doorbell cameras, please review your footage and bring anything of significance to our attention.”
