Several road closures have been put in place in Dundee after a bus burst into flames.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 2.30pm on Wednesday, on Strathern Road, Broughty Ferry.
No one was injured as a result of the blaze.
Images and videos on social media show the bus engulfed in a fireball, and later reduced to just its metal skeleton.
Police have put closures in place on Strathern Road, Crawford Place, Fairfield Road and Ralston Road.
Craig MillarA Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 2.30pm on Wednesday, June 21 to reports of a bus fire on Strathern Road, Broughty Ferry.
“Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene to extinguish the fire.
“There are no reported casualties.
“Firefighters remain at the scene to make the area safe.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.30pm on Wednesday, June 21, police were called to reports of a vehicle fire on Strathern Road, Broughty Ferry.
“Emergency services are in attendance road closures are in place on Strathern Road, Crawford Place, Fairfield Road and at Ralston Road.”
