A biker has been charged after he was allegedly clocked at 120mph in 60mph zone near an airport in Perth.
Officers said they observed the motorcyclist travelling at double the limit on the A94 on Sunday, near Scone Airport.
A 36-year-old man has been charged in connection and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Inspector Greg Burns said “one minor misjudgement” when speeding, such as a “pothole or encounter with wildlife running on the road”, can prove “catastrophic”.
Police had been giving roads in the area additional attention at the weekend when the incident happened.
