A body has been found in the water in search of a missing woman from Perth.
Police said on Sunday a body has been found in water near Stormontfield.
Officers say formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Lucy Sheldon have been informed.
The 46-year-old had last been seen walking on a path near Stromontfield Hydro Station around 1.20pm on Saturday.
The death is being treated as “unexplained” but is not believed to be suspicious.
A Police Scotland statement read: “A body has been found in water near Stromontfield.
“Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of Lucy Sheldon, 46, from Perth, have been informed.
“The death is being treated as unexplained but not believed to be suspicious.
“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
