A body has been found amid a search for a man in the River Tay.
The discovery was made in Perth, following reports of the three people coming into difficulty on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to Moncrieff Island at around 7.45pm after the alarm was raised.
Two men were traced and checked over by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The search, involving police helicopters, Mountain Rescue teams, and firefighters, continued for a 27-year-old man who remained missing.
Police confirmed on Friday that a body had been found and enquiries are under way to establish his identity.
A statement from the force said: “The body of a man has been recovered following searches in the water in the Moncreiffe Island area of Perth.
“Emergency services remain in attendance and enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the man.”
