A body has been found in the search for a missing woman in Moray.
Officers confirmed that the body was found in Teindland Woods, south of Altonside, at around 1am on Monday.
Formal identification has yet to take place, however, the family of missing woman Nicola Mitchell has been notified.
Police said there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
Ms Mitchell, 26, was last seen on Friday evening in Mulben near Keith.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Around 1.15am on Monday, February 26, the body of a woman was discovered within Teindland Woods, south of Altonside.
“Formal identification is yet to take place, but the family of missing woman Nicole Mitchell are aware.
“There do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances.”
