Police ScotlandA body has been found near a hill during searches for a woman reported missing from Perth overnight.
Samantha Osuch was last seen in the Rannoch Road area at around 7.55am on Tuesday morning.
Police confirmed that the body of a woman was discovered near Kinoull Hill around 11am on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old’s family has been informed.
A police statement said: “Around 11.10am on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, the body of a woman was found near Kinoull Hill, Perth.
“There would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
“Although formal identification has yet to take place, the family of Samantha Osuch, 37, who had been reported missing overnight, have been informed.”
